In the context of the current vigorous development of the information network economy and Internet+, E-commerce,  Data Analysis, intelligent information processing and other fields have unlimited development prospects and potentials, and talents who can use statistical background to manage and apply business data have become the most urgently needed talents.

根据艾瑞咨询调研1000家企业得出的结论，97.9%企业认为数据处理能力对电商运营很重要，全球近60%企业渴望获得更多的数据分析人才加入，商务数据分析与应用人才前景好，起薪高，晋升快，成为未来十年最赚钱的职业。 

According to the conclusion drawn by iResearch's research of 1,000 companies, 97.9% of companies believe that data processing capabilities are important to e-commerce operations. Also, nearly 60% of companies worldwide are eager to get more data analysis talents to join their team.  Subsequntly, business data analysis and application talents have a bright future, with a high starting salary and fast job promotion, it will become the most profitable profession in the next ten years.

浙江工商大学统计学科是传统优势学科，拥有从本科到硕士到博士、博士后的完善人才培养体系，是学校最早拥有硕士点和博士点招生资质的学院之一。学科在全国统计学领域排名高，在2017年教育部第四轮学科评估中，统计学一级学科并列全国第七，进入全国前10%。

Statistics discipline at Zhejiang Gongshang University is a traditional one with a comprehensive talent training system from undergraduate to master’s to doctoral and post-doctoral degrees. It is one of the first colleges to acquire enrollment qualifications for master’s and doctoral programs. Our discipline ranks high in the field of statistics in China. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the MOE (Ministry of Education) in 2017, it ranked  No.7 (Top 10% Nationally）.

为了完善的实践教学环境，统计学院实验中心购置了SAS、SPSS、EViews、STATA等国际上主流的统计分析软件，拥有电话调查系统、网络调查系统，具有实时更新的国民经济数据库、金融数据库、财务分析数据库。

In order to improve the practical teaching environment, the Experimental Center of SSM has purchased international mainstream statistical analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, EViews, STATA, and has a telephone survey system, a network survey system, and a real-time update of the national economy database, financial database, and financial analysis  database.

校外实践基地多样化，中国义乌小商品城实践教育基地被评为国家级大学生校外实践教育基地，同时是浙江工商大学统计学专业省级研究生教学创新示范基地。建立校外实习基地既是注重培养学生实践动手能力有效举措，也是培养素质高能力强的应用型人才的办学特色之一。

Various off-campus practice bases: China Yiwu Commodity City Practice Education Base was rated as a national off-campus practice education base for students, and it is also a provincial-level postgraduate teaching innovation demonstration base for statistics majors in Zhejiang Gongshang University. Establishing an off-campus practice base is not only an effective measure to focus on cultivating students' practical ability, but also one of the school-running characteristics of cultivating high-quality and capable application-oriented talents.

3. 我们的人才培养目标是什么? What is our Training Goal?

我们培养学生扎实的统计学基础知识、数据处理和数据分析技能，使学生掌握大数据分析方法，精通商务数据的分析与管理，培养国际化、高素质的商务智能与商业数据分析专业人才。

We cultivate students' solid basic knowledge of statistics, data processing and data analysis skills, enable students to master big data analysis methods, proficient in business data analysis and management, and cultivate international, high-quality business intelligence and business data analysis professionals.

我们培养学生从事市场调查、经济信息分析、宏观经济决策及其它经济管理工作的能力。

We train students to engage in market research, economic information analysis, macroeconomic decision-making and other economic management capabilities.

我们培养学生多行业就业的能力，如跨国公司、银行、证券、保险、咨询机构、政府经济管理部门及教育机构等。

We cultivate students' ability to work in multiple industries, such as multinational companies, banks, securities, insurance, consulting agencies, government economic management departments, and educational institutions.

Core courses: Applied Regression Analysis, Business Statistics, Statistical Software Packages, Market Research, Management Decision-making and Analysis, etc.

Elective courses: International e-commerce, Quality Management, Data Mining, etc.

5.  你会获得什么学位？What kind of degree will you get? 

经过2.5年的学习，修满课程所要求的全部学分，符合毕业要求的学生将颁发毕业证书并授予经济学硕士学位。

After 2.5 years of study and achieve all the credits required for the program courses, students who meet school requirements will be awarded a Master degree in Economics.
