Decision on Issuing a Public Criticism of International Student AMIROV ***
Upon investigation, it has been found that AMIROV **, a language program student at the College of International Education, Zhejiang Gongshang University, was involved in a traffic accident on February 19, 2025, at 17:00. He was riding an unregistered electric bicycle and, due to inadequate observation of road conditions and failure to ensure driving safety, collided with a pedestrian crossing the road. According to the local traffic police department's determination of responsibility, the student was found to bear secondary responsibility for the accident.
In accordance with the Interim Measures for the Management of Electric Bicycles on the Zhejiang Gongshang University Campus and the Disciplinary Regulations for International Students of Zhejiang Gongshang University, and to uphold school discipline and strengthen educational warnings, the school has decided, after deliberation, to issue a public criticism of the student.
All students are urged to take this as a warning, strictly abide by the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the university’s regulations on electric bicycle management, and fulfill their safety responsibilities. Each school department should further strengthen safety education to prevent such incidents from occurring again.
