Timukudze Tariro Stephanie Maroveke, also known by her Chinese name Meili, is from Zimbabwe and graduated from the School of Law at Zhejiang Gongshang University in 2019. She later continued her studies at East China University of Political Science and Law, where she earned a master’s degree in International Economic Law. In 2021, she became one of the first Zimbabwean lawyers to study law in China and obtain professional legal qualifications.
She currently focuses on corporate legal affairs and cross-border legal services, providing legal support for Chinese enterprises and participating in policy research and consulting related to Zimbabwe’s international affairs. Her professional work covers corporate compliance, cross-border investment, and related legal matters, offering legal safeguards for business operations in China-Zimbabwe economic and trade cooperation. In 2025, her professional achievements were reported by a Zimbabwean broadcasting channel. She also actively promotes corporate social responsibility projects among Chinese investors in Zimbabwe, supports cooperation between enterprises and local communities, and continues to contribute to the development of China-Zimbabwe economic, trade, and legal cooperation.
