Farrukh is from Bangladesh and is an outstanding recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship at Zhejiang Gongshang University. During his studies, he actively participated in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. In 2019, he led a team to win third prize in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for International Students in China among 100 Universities, and in 2021 he won fourth place in the Global E-commerce Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition. During his studies, he visited more than ten Chinese cities, attended over 60 expos, and conducted in-depth exchanges with manufacturers and suppliers. Inspired by successful entrepreneurs, he founded Hangzhou Haifu Technology Co., Ltd. in 2020, engaging in import and export trade of machinery, elevators, generators, industrial automation products, and related goods.
The company has offices in both Bangladesh and China and is supported by an efficient transportation system. It has established a sales network covering the Middle East, India, Bangladesh, and African markets such as Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Tanzania. In 2022, Farrukh was recognized by the Hangzhou municipal government as a Category E high-level talent. He also actively organizes Bangladesh-China business study tours, inviting Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to attend major exhibitions and industry fairs in Chinese cities, promoting business cooperation and industrial matching between enterprises in the two countries and further advancing China-Bangladesh economic and trade exchanges.
