Lina Maria Castiblanco Diaz, also known by her Chinese name Lina, is from Colombia and was a 2021 master’s student in Tourism Management at the School of Tourism and Urban-Rural Planning. In 2023, she received the Cultural Promotion Contribution Award in the “Telling China’s Stories” International Cultural Trade Talent Selection Program for International Students in China. She also actively participated in promotional activities for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, including recording the theme song Asian Games Fever and taking part in experience-based programs such as “The Asian Games Through Foreign Eyes.”
Through overseas social media platforms, Lina published short videos on themes such as the Hangzhou Asian Games and West Lake culture, with single videos exceeding ten thousand views and related content reposted by the official platform of the Embassy of Colombia in China. In 2023, she attended the welcome banquet held for the President of Colombia as an international student representative. In 2024, she appeared on CGTN to share her story of life and entrepreneurship in Hangzhou. In 2025, the Focus on Anji series in which she participated won an Outstanding Work Award at the 7th “Third Eye on China” International Short Video Competition. Lina has now founded her own company in Hangzhou and is leading the “Colombian Friends in Hangzhou” project, promoting two-way business cooperation through the integration of culture and tourism.
