Bezabh Abebe Bahiru, also known by his Chinese name Abei, is from Ethiopia. He was a 2021 full Presidential Scholarship recipient at Zhejiang Gongshang University and majored in International Law during his doctoral studies. Throughout his studies, he demonstrated strong academic potential and well-rounded capabilities. During his doctoral program, he actively engaged in academic research and international academic exchange. He served as a reviewer for the European Scientific Journal and was selected for the Nuremberg Academy’s young professionals program in international criminal law, successfully completing the training and receiving official certification. He also served as a judge in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, demonstrating solid professional competence and a broad international outlook.
During his time at ZJSU, Bezabh participated widely in academic and practical activities and became an outstanding representative of the international student community. In the field of innovation and practice, the project “Xihe Culture—A Rising Star in Taking Chinese Ceramics Global,” in which he participated, reached the national finals of the 14th “Challenge Cup” Qinchuangyuan China College Students Entrepreneurship Competition in 2024 and ultimately won a gold award. After completing his doctorate, he joined the School of Law at Zhejiang Normal University as a full-time faculty member, continuing his work in legal research and talent development and vividly demonstrating the achievements of ZJSU’s international talent cultivation.
