Established in 1911，ZJSU was one of the earliest business schools in China, and has a history of 113 years till now.

Disciplines

Zhejiang Gongshang University has a complete range of disciplines, covering 10 categories including economics, management, law, literature, science, engineering, history, philosophy, art, and interdisciplinary subjects. Possess the right to confer doctoral degrees, master's degrees, and bachelor's degrees, as well as the right to confer master's professional degrees, and the right to recruit foreign students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation results released by the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, ZJSU's statistics entered Class A disciplines, while six disciplines, including business administration, applied economics, foreign language and literature, food science and engineering, law, and computer science and technology, entered Class B. The evaluation results ranked among the top key construction universities in Zhejiang Province. Agricultural science, engineering science, computer science, environment/ecology, chemistry, and general social sciences have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings, with agricultural science ranking in the top 3 ‰ and engineering science in the top 5 ‰.
