In order to improve the international students’ fire safety awareness and escape ability, the school organized a fire drill on the afternoon of 15th November, 2023.
Before the fire drill, teacher Liu Shanwu from the security department patiently explained to the international students how to escape correctly, how to use fire extinguisher and fire blanket, etc. Under the leading of the staff, international students had a simulated experience of a fire escape. Finally, the international students practiced a simulated firefighting skill.
International students all expressed that this fire drill improved their fire safety awareness and helped them acquire more fire safety knowledge and skills. It is a very meaningful activity, and they will pay much more attention to the safety of fire and electricity usage in their daily life.
