Scholarships for International Students of Zhejiang Gongshang University(General Scholarship)

I. Introduction

In order to further enhance the internationalization of our university, attract more international students to study and engage in scientific research, create a positive and upward learning and living atmosphere for international students, and contribute to the construction of a high-level university, Zhejiang Gongshang University hereby sets up the "Scholarships for International Students of Zhejiang Gongshang University(General Scholarship)".

II. Qualified Applicants

This Scholarship is used to reward outstanding undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students (hereinafter referred to as "degree students") who are planning to or already studying at our university.

IV. Application Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and good in health;

2. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China; abide by the discipline and regulations of Zhejiang Gongshang University;

3. For current degree students applying for scholarships, they must have no overdue payment for tuition and accommodation during their enrollment, and their attendance rate should be 80% or above. They should demonstrate diligence in their studies, passing grades in all subjects on the final exams(first exams) with an overall good academic performance (make-up exams and repeated courses are not considered in the calculation), leaving no records of absenteeism, or with outstanding performance in other aspects;

4. For new degree students applying for scholarships, they should have an overall good academic performance (based on the academic transcripts provided for the previous education level), or demonstrate outstanding performance in other aspects, with no negative records.

V. Application Procedures

For applicants of Scholarship for New Degree Students:

Please log in the Online Application System of Zhejiang Gongshang University（hzic.at0086.cn/student).

Step one: finish the major application; fill in the forms and upload the following required documents in clear scanned copies, then submit.

Step two: please choose Chinese University Scholarship→ Zhejiang Gongshang University General Scholarship to finish the scholarship application.

1. Application Form for International Admission;

2. Notarized highest degree certificate and academic transcripts;

3. Personal statement;

4. Photocopies of language proficiency (Chinese or English) certificates;

5. Two letters of recommendation written and signed by professors or associate professors(master's, and doctoral students);

6. Published academic papers or achievements (if applicable);

7. Resume;

8. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

9. Photocopy of passport;

10. Other materials.

For applicants of Scholarship for Current Degree Students:

No need for online application. Please submit the following materials to their respective colleges within the specified time:

1. Application Form for International Admission;

2. Personal statement, including the student's study plan, research plan, and reasons for applying;

3. Various award certificates or proof of excellence (if applicable);

4. Published academic papers or achievements (if applicable);

5. Photocopy of passport;

6. Other materials.

VI. Application Results

ZJSU will review and evaluate the scholarship applications of the admitted students. The scholarship recipients will be notified by email and SMS in the online application system normally on July or August of the current year.
