1. Apply for Visa
Welcome to study in Zhejiang Gongshang University. Before departure, you need to hold a valid visa to travel to China. Please go to the Chinese embassy or consulate to apply for the appropriate visa according to your individual study program.
1.1 X1 Visa
For students who study in China for a long time (more than 180 days) should apply for X1 visa with the admission letter of the school, JW202 or JW201 form, and physical examination records of foreigners.
Reminder: Please go to a hospital or medical center in your country that has the qualification to issue a physical examination certificate for overseas students.
1.2 X2 Visa
For students who study in China for a short time (less than 180 days) should apply for X2 visa with the admission letter, JW202 form or JW201 form (if necessary) of the school.
1.3 Other type of Visa
If new students who have been admitted by our university enter China with non-study visas, such as L, M, Z visas, etc., they have to apply for X1 or X2 visa to re-enter before they can start their registration process.
1. X1 visa must be converted into a residence permit within 30 days from the date of entry. After entering China, students should go to the school visa office to scan their passport information and collect the visa materials within the specified time (usually no less than 10 working days); Students who hold an X2 visa can apply for the residence permit within the validity period of their X2 visa .
2. Students who already hold a residence permit but need to be renewed must go to the school visa office at least 5 working days before the expiration date. If the residence permit is only valid for 3 days, the University will not accept the application for visa renewal.
